GoodWe launches new Roadshow Vehicle as an innovative first for the renewables industry in Australia!

On Tuesday 26th April, GoodWe Australia launched its new, custom-made roadshow vehicle that operates as a mobile sales showroom and training facility, to benefit both the solar industry and end consumer markets.  The official ribbon cutting was done by John Grimes, CEO of the Smart Energy Council, along with other VIP guests and collaborative partners in attendance including Ford, Grand Designs Australia and the popular Home Show events.

The vehicle comprises of a new Ford Transit, that has been adapted and custom-made to open out into a walk-on showroom and training facility, self-powered by GoodWe inverter and battery products that also provides a safe demonstration of how energy storage products keep essential loads powered on in the event of a power outage.  This vehicle is a first for the solar industry in Australia and New Zealand and will be showcased throughout 2022 and beyond, including Smart Energy Council solar installer roadshow events and the hugely popular Home Show consumer events in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane to provide helpful solar advice and guidance to the public.  GoodWe Australia also has plans to utilise the vehicle as an education tool for schools to promote renewable energy technology, as Australia heads towards Net Zero by 2050.

John Grimes commented:

“This is a commitment to the Australian market, this is innovation at work.  The idea to use this vehicle to educate, not just installers, but school children and people across the country is absolutely fantastic, so congratulations to the whole team at GoodWe in Australia. People know that this is a brand that people can depend on and if you pick up the telephone you will have a technical expert solve your problem locally. Good work, GoodWe.”

Dean Williamson, Country Manager for GoodWe Australia also commented:

“As we know, the last few years have certainly been challenging, with many events and larger gatherings put on hold. One thing we noticed was that the solar industry and the general public were ready to get back to face-to-face events in a safe manner. We wanted something innovative that both the industry and consumers could enjoy, learn and benefit from, in the form of a roadshow vehicle that we can take around the country. We are really proud of the end result and we are already getting great feedback from the first events we have held using the vehicle and we have many more exciting events planned for 2022 and beyond.”

A full calendar of roadshow events will soon be available at www.goodwe.com.au
