GoodWe Low Voltage Energy Storage Solutions Enable Residential Households in Unstable Power Regions

GoodWe’s single-phase low-voltage energy storage solutions are advancing the global transition to renewable energy, especially in regions where power stability remains a critical challenge. Featuring the company’s market-proven ES series inverters, ranging from 3kW to 12kW, and battery systems starting at 5kWh and expandable up to 150kWh, these low-voltage solutions offer an ideal blend of affordability, scalability, and reliability.

The ES series inverters are compatible with a wide range of low-voltage batteries, such as GoodWe’s Lynx A and Lynx U series, ensuring a safe, cost-effective, and flexible solution for users. Designed for dependable performance during power outages, the system can switch to backup mode in less than 10 milliseconds. With a 200% overload capacity for up to 10 seconds, it handles high-demand loads without compromising efficiency.

These solutions are being deployed across various countries, showcasing their effectiveness in real-world applications.

South Africa and Myanmar

Two residential installations—one in South Africa and another in Myanmar—feature the ES G2 paired with a third-party battery in the former and GoodWe’s Lynx U series in the latter. Chosen for its reliable power supply, the system is also well-suited for home settings, offering low-noise operation (<30dB) and a compact design ideal for limited indoor spaces.

China

In Shiyi Village, Sichuan, China, a solar-plus-storage system featuring a 3.6kW ES G2 inverter and a 5.4kWh Lynx U battery powers EV charging stations. The system is expected to generate 2,700 kWh of green energy annually.

Located in a mountainous area, this project demonstrates how GoodWe’s versatile low-voltage solutions are driving energy transformation in remote and hard-to-reach regions.

Myanmar

In the Yangon region townships, power outages are frequent, with electricity supplied on a four-hour rotation system, making reliable backup power supply essential for residents.

A local household with significant daily energy consumption, including multiple air conditioners and other loads, benefits from a GoodWe system comprising two ES Uniq 12kW inverters and ten Lynx A 5kWh batteries, which ensures stable power supply during outages.

Expanding the Low-Voltage ESS Portfolio to Meet Market Needs

The ES Uniq inverter supports diverse battery types, including lithium-ion and lead-acid batteries. It also accommodates high-power modules and boasts a 200% oversizing capacity to maximize energy generation.

With the ability to connect up to 16 units in parallel for both on- and off-grid operation, the ES Uniq offers flexibility for system expansion. Furthermore, it supports energy storage from diesel generators, providing a flexible and reliable solution for regions with unreliable or nonexistent grids.

Built for resilience, the ES Uniq system features an IP66 rating, ensuring protection against water, dust, and other environmental elements. Meanwhile, both Lynx A and U batteries, compatible with ES Uniq, have been upgraded to deliver over 6,000 cycles, ensuring a long lifespan for the system.

GoodWe continues to enhance its low-voltage residential energy storage systems to address evolving customer needs. With new features and benefits soon to be added to this low-voltage energy storage portfolio, GoodWe remains dedicated to empowering residential households worldwide with sustainable energy solutions.
