GoodWe’s Overseas Staff Invited Back to Headquarters for Knowledge Exchange and Manufacturing Visit

In November, a group of GoodWe’s international employees were invited to China for a one-week trip to the company’s Headquarters in Suzhou city and the manufacturing base in Guangde city. This is the first time for GoodWe to organize such a reunion program onsite after a three year hiatus. Staff from NA, APAC, EMEA, and LATAM joined the event.

The trip kicked off in Suzhou with a warm welcoming event, attended by Daniel Huang, the founder and CEO of GoodWe. Expressing his joy at the reunion, Daniel said, “Despite supply chain challenges and lockdown disruptions, GoodWe has achieved consistent revenue growth over the past three years. Thank you for being part of this incredible journey.”

Following the welcome event, the team explored the office building, including the corporate showroom, solar system demo sites, R&D departments, and more, gaining practical insights into the company’s operations. The visit also included the new headquarters building in Suzhou, currently under construction and set to be operational next year.

As part of the tour, the team participated in training sessions covering key products, industry trends, and the company’s development plan. Notably, a significant segment of the tour involved a visit to one of the company’s manufacturing bases in Guangde city. Here, they had an opportunity to closely observe the advanced production lines and engaged in direct communication with technicians and operators on site.

As a global company prioritizing localization, GoodWe today boasts over 150 overseas employees in different countries and regions who are familiar with their local language and culture, and know well about customer needs.

“Looking ahead, we’re dreaming big. Sure, challenges are there, but we’re working step by step to make things even better.” Daniel added, “Our focus remains on customer needs, quality, streamlined processes, and user-friendly designs as we strive to deliver superior service. Through investments in talent, training, and on-site support, we are committed to evolving and maintaining our competitive edge. Let’s create together and win together.”

Comments from international employees:

Lizzy Nguyen, based in Vietnam, commented, “It was extremely meaningful for our local team to connect with the heart of GoodWe, meet our beloved co-workers whose names were so familiar to us through emails. I am proud to be part of the sustainable future GoodWe is building. This trip reinforced that with the strength of every GoodWe individual, we will go far and beyond our targets.”

Lena Berg, based in Germany, shared, “The visit has been truly amazing. We feel like one big family here, collaborating for a common goal. It’s impressive to visit the new production facilities and witness GoodWe’s investment in future capacities, new solutions, and R&D capabilities. Being part of this is a great thing!”

Johanna Schneider, based in Germany, shared, “Meeting the HQ team face-to-face is crucial for team understanding and collaboration. Witnessing the production lines, the range of products being researched and developed, and the scale of production facilities is inspiring. And at the same time, understanding what's behind our logo, what's behind our mission… there's so much that we can do and bring to the European market as a smart energy innovator.”

Apollo Chai, based in Australia, complemented, “It's a significant change. Though I used to work in the HQ, this time I come back, the most impressive part is reception and treatment from transportation, accommodation, to meals, the details to every single aspect. The expansion in Guangde manufacture center is massive, and the technological automations are really world-class, giving me strong confidence.”
