GoodWe Selected for UNGC25 Sustainable Value Chain Leaders Alliance

GoodWe has been recognized as a member of the UNGC25 Sustainable Value Chain Leaders Alliance, a flagship initiative by the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) in China to mark its 25th anniversary. The program honors enterprises that excel in sustainability and responsible supply chain practices.

In September, UNGC experts visited GoodWe’s Suzhou headquarters. GoodWe hosted workshops with experts and nearly 60 suppliers, focusing on corporate low-carbon transformation and sustainable development. Participants exchanged insights on global ESG trends, carbon management practices, and regulatory compliance.

During the session, Dr. Kenan Zhang, Director of the GoodWe Institute for Sustainability, shared the company’s green supply chain strategy, highlighting efforts to promote partner compliance through a Supplier Code of Conduct and ESG risk control, ensure lifecycle compliance with its Green Product Management (GPM) System, and advance closed-loop management from raw materials to product recycling by collaborating across the value chain.

Since 2021, GoodWe has been committed to the UN Global Compact corporate responsibility initiative and its principles in the areas of human rights, labor, environment, and anti-corruption. As a leader in green transformation in the photovoltaic industry, GoodWe integrates sustainability across its operations, from green manufacturing and smart energy solutions to ESG governance and responsible supply chain management.
