At Asia Sustainable Energy Week 2025 in Thailand, GoodWe’s booth became a major highlight with its comprehensive energy solutions and localized market strategy. The booth design, themed "Smart Energy Ecosystem”, focused on the following core areas:
Full Range of Residential Energy Storage Solutions
In response to rising electricity costs and the increasing demand for residential solar in the Thai market, GoodWe showcased a new generation of on-grid inverters and residential storage systems. These are adapted for tropical climates and feature stable high-temperature operation, one of the key highlights is the ES Uniq series which supports up to six inverters in parallel and allows generator connection.
The ES Uniq series features an anti-corrosion design and wide operating temperature range (-35℃ to 60℃), ensuring long-term stability in regions like Thailand and Vietnam.
With electricity prices continuing to rise across Southeast Asia—particularly in Thailand’s industrial sector, the ES Uniq helps shorten the return-on-investment cycle through a self-generation & self-consumption + peak-valley arbitrage model. It also provides <4ms backup power switching to address frequent regional power outages.
C&I Solutions
The newly upgraded ET 50kW three-phase inverter, optimized for Thailand’s tropical climate, delivers 98.6% peak efficiency and IP66 protection, making it ideal for large-scale C&I applications.
The ET 50kW C&I storage solution incorporates SiC semiconductor components, an innovative structural design, and optimized heat dissipation for enhanced reliability and performance.
Another notable product is GoodWe GT 125kw C&I inverter, whose core advantages are reflected in efficient adaptation, extreme environmental stability, intelligent operation and maintenance, and localized services, which meet the high temperature and high humidity climate and industrial and commercial photovoltaic needs of the Thai market. 10 MPPTs design supports multi-directional component installation and adapts to Thailand’s complex roof structures (such as factories, shopping malls, etc.). With 1.5 times DC over-sizing, the system maximizes the use of Thailand's high solar irradiation and reduces energy curtailment.
Based in Thailand, GoodWe also demonstrated strong C&I project cases, including a 1MW installation at Chiang Mai University featuring the GoodWe SMT50kW string inverter and rapid shutdown solution. The project has significantly alleviated power shortages and reduced energy costs for the campus.
With over a decade of presence in Thailand, GoodWe emphasized its local service capabilities, including Bangkok-based technical support for rapid response, close partnerships with Thai distributors, and a strong foundation for seamless market reach.
“Thailand is a key market in our ASEAN strategy," said Yingge Wang, VP at GoodWe. “Our solutions are designed not just for performance, but for long-term sustainability in this region."
