GoodWeek 2023 in retrospect -- Time to reimagine solar

GoodWeek 2023 concluded successfully on March 10th after five days of informative presentations. With over 2,6000 live attendees and 550,000 views from 60 countries and regions, the event provided a global platform for GoodWe and its 27 strategic partners across five continents to share deep insights into the latest developments in the photovoltaic industry. The presentations highlighted the challenges and opportunities that the solar market is currently facing, offering valuable guidance for industry players and stakeholders alike.

March 6th China session

GoodWeek 2023 was inaugurated with the release of "Photovoltaic Building Safety White Paper" in China, which introduced the overall solution for PV building safety, as well as the building PV safety grading and evaluation criteria.

After that, GoodWe introduced our safety solution including RSD and AFCI 3.0, as well as our cutting-edge C&I storage solution. The session concluded with a lively panel discussion on the development of PV building and smart energy. 

March 7th EMEA session

GoodWeek 2023 EMEA made history again with over 1,500 registrants and 700 attendees. Aurora Energy Research provided key insights into the EU market, highlighting the following points: EU renewables target requiring 3x faster deployment; current installed capacity reaches 571 GW; “Fit for 55” (FF55) package targeting 1067 GW by 2030; the REPowerEU targeting 1236 GW by 2030.

GoodWe showcased its intelligent utility-scale station solution, while LONGi introduced its latest product. The event also featured a professional all-round panel discussion on "String Inverter Technologies: 200kW+ vs. 300kW+".

March 8th North America session

According to our partner in North America, Wood Mackenzie, 2022 is set to be a year of global reset for electricity markets. This follows the establishment of substantial, long-term public policy support for renewables, storage, and electrification.

At GoodWeek 2023, we introduced our residential energy storage system and showcased the full advantages of our next-generation devices. Our partner, LG Energy Solution, also presented their RESU Prime Home Battery, which offers innovative features and capabilities to enhance residential energy storage solutions.

March 9th Brazil session

During the Brazil session, we continued our long-standing cooperation with our partner Canal Solar, Greener and NewCharge provided an in-depth analysis of the Brazilian energy storage market, highlighting the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead. Moura also showcased their latest LFP battery technology, which promises the maximization of the use of the energy generated by the PV system and the minimization of energy cost.

As a leading provider of energy storage solutions, GoodWe concluded the session by introducing our latest products and solutions for the Brazilian market.

March 10th APAC session

GoodWeek 2023 concluded on a high note with the APAC session. Solar Quarter kicked off the session with a comprehensive forecast highlighting the increasing utility-scale PV deployment in countries like the Philippines, Cambodia, and Malaysia. They also noted the growing popularity of floating PV across the SEA market.

Together with Trina Solar, GoodWe shared the latest advancements in C&I storage systems and discussed the future prospects of the ASEAN utility-scale industry. This partnership underscores our commitment to delivering cutting-edge solutions that meet the evolving needs of the PV industry in APAC and beyond.
