Job description

GoodWe, founded in 2010, is one of the top 5 leading global solar inverter and battery storage manufacturers. Our team at GoodWe USA Inc. is growing quickly and we need support in service and after sales. This is a unique opportunity to enter the quickly growing renewable energy segment.

Job Purpose: Responsible for training, field support, and case management with solar installers and distributors in the renewable energy segment. The candidate will provide technical support in the North American market. The work environment is hybrid (1-4 days in office), and the candidate is based in the Denver area.


Responsibilities

1. Service and support on solar inverters and battery energy storage systems.

2. Solve level 2 cases on technical support and after sales related activities.

3. Provide daily technical support over phone, email, face to face, or through CRM.

4. Solve and manage technical escalations.

5. Provide on-site inspection, commissioning, troubleshooting and replacement support.

6. Support local repair center operation.

7. Train installers for best installation performance.

8. Perform firmware upgrades and minor rework.

9. Communicate with level 3 engineers and level 1 support.

10. Provide technical installation and end-user training courses.

11. Reporting.

12. Manage RMA logistics.


Qualifications

1. More than 3-years in electronics, PV industry experience preferred.

2. Excellent English communication skills.

3. Good MS Office skills, in particular EXCEL MS.

4. Relevant technical degree with experience, or B.S. in Electrical Engineering preferred.

5. Experience with board level troubleshooting and chip level firmware diagnosis and updating.

6. Must have valid driver’s license.

7. Wiling to travel in the US and Canada.

8. Must be willing to travel, max. 10%, also on short notice.
