GoodWe drives forward its solar-storage synergy strategy at SNEC 2025 in Shanghai, advancing its commitment to shaping a future-proof energy ecosystem. Highlights included comprehensive and intelligent residential energy solutions, and versatile commercial and industrial (C&I) storage systems tailored to varied operational demands. Across its product portfolio, GoodWe introduced upgrades that enhance performance and user experience, featuring AI-powered intelligence for optimized energy management, robust multi-layer safety, and whisper-quiet operation. The SDT series inverter across residential and C&I ranges was certified by TÜV Rheinland for outstanding low-noise performance.
“We were among the first companies in China to develop an integrated energy ecosystem strategy aligned with domestic policy priorities and market trends, combining power generation, grid interaction, load management, and energy storage, all coordinated by AI-driven intelligence to enable smarter energy use and build a more resilient power grid for everyone,” said Yingge Wang, Vice President of GoodWe. “And this SNEC exhibition serves as a platform to showcase our progress.”
Optimized home energy use with AI-driven control and whisper-quiet inverters
Building on a strong foundation in the residential market, GoodWe showcased its evolution towards intelligent, user-centric solutions designed to maximize energy self-sufficiency, comfort, savings, and smart living. The new generation of residential inverters features exceptionally low noise levels, with some models running at under 30 decibels.
In its house-like demo area, GoodWe presented a fully integrated energy solution combining rooftop BIPV, on-grid and hybrid inverters, battery storage, and heat pumps into one cohesive system. Also on display was a balcony solar kit, featuring GoodWe’s Suncake BIPV modules paired with either pure PV setups using microinverters or hybrid configurations equipped with compact micro-storage devices.
To address a wide range of residential energy needs, GoodWe’s hybrid systems are engineered to maximize self-consumption, support strong load capacity, deliver UPS-level switching performance, and enable microgrid operation. New low-voltage hybrid solutions were showcased for regions with weak or unstable grids, including the single-phase ES Uniq (3–12 kW) system and the three-phase ET LV (6–20 kW) system, both compatible with a range of battery options.
GoodWe’s Home Energy Management System (HEMS) attracted strong interest for its intelligent coordination of power generation, storage, and smart load operation—maximizing self-consumption and minimizing reliance on the grid. GoodWe ET G2 three-phase hybrid inverter and new all-in-one ESA series are EMS-ready, ideal for regions with dynamic tariffs to enable potential energy profits.
Versatile, Durable C&I Solutions Driving Sustainable Business Growth
GoodWe’s C&I portfolio drew strong attention at SNEC, showcasing versatile energy solutions that help businesses advance their sustainability goals. Several storage offerings were presented and are set to launch in overseas markets, supporting a wide range of applications including industrial parks, commercial complexes, data centers, and off-grid island projects. Highlights include the ESA 125 kW/261 kWh all-in-one storage system, scalable up to megawatt capacities, featuring AI-powered battery diagnostics and health prediction. The new BAT series modular batteries are available in both outdoor (102.4/112.6 kWh) and indoor (51.2/56.3 kWh) configurations, compatible with GoodWe ET50 hybrid inverter.
With enhanced system compatibility, GoodWe’s C&I storage solutions can be integrated into PV systems using the company’s SEC3000C controller. For example, this controller enables the parallel connection of on-grid inverters such as the GT series and the hybrid system consisting of ET50 inverters plus BAT (102.4/112.6 kWh), allowing power expansion tailored to complex C&I requirements.
Safety is central to the design. The 6-Layer safety architecture covers cell level protection of the integrated top-tier battery-cells, intelligent electrical protection, high-strengths enclosure and emergency response. All new C&I hybrid inverters as well as the string inverters support AI-powered Arc Fault Circuit Interruption (AFCI) 3.0 and Rapid Shutdown (RSD) 2.0 for advanced installation and operational safety.
Utility-Scale Solutions: Enhancing Grid Stability and Reliability
For ground-mounted utility projects, GoodWe focuses on delivering not only reliable energy generation but also stable and dependable grid support. Alongside its flagship UT Series string inverter, GoodWe offers the SCU3000 communication unit, which facilitates seamless integration and monitoring for large-scale solar installations. Additionally, the ICS set-up converter is engineered for robust, long-term operation in challenging environments, enabling comprehensive ground-mounted utility and large-scale energy storage integrated solutions.
Smart Energy WE Platform driving energy optimization
A key highlight during the show was GoodWe’s Smart Energy Management WE Platform, demonstrated through real-world case studies. Applied across use cases ranging from integrated solar-storage-charging systems to zero-carbon park models, the platform enables participation in Virtual Power Plants (VPPs), optimizes electricity consumption, and facilitates energy trading. Currently deployed exclusively in China, the platform has been implemented in over 100 industrial parks, demonstrating tangible real-world impact.
