Reflecting on GoodWe's 2024: Milestones in the Journey of Innovation, Collaboration, and Green Ambitions

As the New Year begins, it is an ideal moment to reflect on the key milestones of 2024—a year defined by innovation, resilience, and the pursuit of new possibilities. Amid market challenges, GoodWe reinforced its dedication to advancing the global smart energy transition, setting new benchmarks in sustainability and collaboration.

Product Innovation: C&I Focus and Global Installations

Product is the core. In 2024, GoodWe continued its commitment to advancing solar technology, particularly in the Commercial and Industrial (C&I) sector. We introduced the flexible and expandable battery system and expanded our hybrid inverter portfolio to 50kW, addressing diverse energy storage needs.

The launch of an over-100kW string inverter further enhanced our ability to offer efficient, reliable energy solutions with strong ROI.

These innovations have been validated by successful global installations, demonstrating their real-world effectiveness.

Enhanced Manufacturing: Quality, Efficiency, and Solution Competence

2024 marked important progress in GoodWe's manufacturing capabilities, reinforcing our ability to meet customer needs with reliable products.

We opened our first overseas manufacturing facility in Vietnam, improving our ability to serve global markets. We also completed the third phase of our Guangde manufacturing base in China, featuring a 1,000-square-meter building with a zero-carbon theme.

To meet the growing demand for energy-efficient solutions, GoodWe launched GOODHEAT, a new facility dedicated to heat pumps, further expanding our product portfolio and versatility across the energy value chain.

A Green HQ Building: Significant Step Towards Big Dreams

2024 was another year driven by our mission towards a more sustainable future. We opened our new global headquarters in Suzhou, China, a building that integrates energy-efficient technologies, including Building-Integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV) and GoodWe’s energy management solutions. It represents our long-term goal of enabling every building to generate electricity, setting an example for future C&I projects.

Industry Partnership: Fostering Connections in Renewable Energy

Partnership has been the cornerstone of GoodWe's long-term development, and in 2024, we focused on fostering collaboration within the renewable energy industry. 

GoodWe hosted our first Global Partner Summit at the new headquarters, bringing together over 500 industry professionals to discuss the future of renewable energy. The event focused on addressing industry challenges and exploring technological innovations in energy transition, with overwhelmingly positive feedback from attendees.

Additionally, the GoodWeek 2024 online webinar engaged over 5,000 live attendees from 60 countries, providing a platform for sharing insights on the latest solar technologies. 

GoodWe also shined its W logo at exhibitions across the EMEA, APAC, and AMER regions, showcasing solar solutions tailored to different market needs.

Sustainable Spirits, Growing Efforts

This year, GoodWe took further steps toward our sustainability goals. We announced the establishment of the Sustainable Development and Research Institute, dedicated to driving our Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategies and initiatives. Our commitment to sustainability continued with the second round of GoodWe EcoSmart Kids program in Australia, promoting solar awareness in schools. The launch of the GoodWe Forest program further demonstrated our dedication, with 2,024 trees planted globally as part of our partnership initiatives.
