GoodWe announced the launch of its ES Uniq Series, a new line of single-phase hybrid inverters tailored for residential solar-plus-storage applications. This inverter series empowers homeowners with enhanced energy independence, system flexibility, and AI-driven safety features. Whether connected to the grid or operating independently in remote or backup scenarios, it guarantees consistent performance and reliable stability.

Enhanced for Real-Life Home Scenarios

Available in 3kW to 12kW capacities, the ES Uniq Series supports a wide range of batteries, including the third-generation Lynx A and Lynx U series from GoodWe. These upgraded battery models feature refined aesthetics, added wall-mounted installation options, and improved modularity, offering homeowners more flexibility in system design. The inverter is also compatible with other major battery brands and supports lead-acid batteries, providing a cost-efficient entry point.

The ES Uniq series delivers strong performance with a maximum 20A DC input current per string and the ability to handle up to 200% PV input oversizing, enabling higher energy yields. Up to six units can run in parallel under both on- and off-grid modes so that users can easily scale their systems as energy needs grow.

Power Resilience with a Seamless Backup Experience

Engineered for resilience, the ES Uniq inverter ensures a seamless switch to backup mode in under 4 milliseconds, protecting appliances from interruptions during power outages. When operating in backup mode, it supports a bypass current of up to 75A, enabling it to handle heavier loads with ease.

Its smart design integrates smart loads, on-grid inverters, and generators into a single port, simplifying the overall system. Generator compatibility allows users to charge the battery when solar or grid power is insufficient.

The ES Uniq inverter also features micro-grid functionality, allowing it to operate with PV inverters to form a self-sustaining local grid. This ensures stable energy generation even in weak grid or fully off-grid settings, making it a future-ready solution for homeowners seeking independent power.

A highlight of the ES Uniq is its whisper-quiet performance, operating at as low as 30dB and below 45dB even at higher capacities, minimizing noise impact in residential settings.

With an IP66 rating, the inverter is protected against dust and water ingress, ensuring durability in diverse environmental conditions. It can operate within a temperature range of -35°C to 60°C. The ES Uniq features optional AI-powered Arc Fault Circuit Interrupter (AFCI) technology, which intelligently detects and mitigates arc faults to prevent potential fire hazards.

The product features a data display that enables users to monitor system operating status and alarms, as well as quickly adjust settings such as safety codes and power limits.
