GoodWe has unveiled its latest residential storage solution, combining the new ET LV Series three-phase hybrid inverters with the BAT low-voltage battery to deliver high power, flexible compatibility, and robust backup capability for homes. Specially designed for households in the Asian, African, and Latin American markets, the solution supports safety power self-consumption and adapts to different load demands.
ET LV Series: High PV Input, Rapid Backup Switching and Micro-grid Solution
The ET LV Series, available from 5 to 20 kW with the 5 kW model expected in October this year, adopts up to 4 MPPTs to accommodate more complex rooftop orientations and shading conditions. It supports a high input current of 20A per string and 200% PV oversizing to maximize solar energy capture and increase self-consumption. The 15kW and 20kW models feature dual independent battery inputs (416A), enabling faster charging, greater storage capacity and flexible configurations.
The ET LV Series inverter delivers high reliability, ensures a seamless switch to backup mode in under 4 milliseconds, protecting appliances from interruptions during power outages. Its 150% unbalanced output capability ensures stable operation in multi-phase environments, even with uneven power distribution, making it ideal for residential applications.
This inverter also features micro-grid functionality, allowing it to operate with PV inverters to form a self-sustaining local grid. This ensures stable energy generation even in weak grid or fully off-grid settings, making it a future-ready solution for homeowners seeking independent power.
BAT14kWh: Flexible Expansion and Fast Charge/Discharge
The BAT14 14.3 kWh low-voltage battery, scalable in parallel up to 30 units for effortless expansion from 14 kWh to 430 kWh, This scalability lets homeowners start with a smaller capacity and increase storage as energy needs grow, accommodating additional appliances, EV charging, or future energy demands without replacing the entire system.
The BAT14kWh delivers rapid power response. With 0.8C charging and 0.94C continuous discharging rates, the battery quickly absorbs energy and delivers power to handle sudden load changes, ensuring stable household operation while maintaining battery health.
Equipped with 280Ah cells and heating technology for operation down to -20℃, the BAT14kWh is designed for reliable performance across various climates.
Smart Home Energy Management: Safer, Compatible and Cost-saving
Safety remains a top priority in the design of this solution. The inverters feature AI-powered AFCI 3.0 technology, which continuously monitors electrical circuits to detect and respond to arc faults quickly and accurately—significantly reducing the risk of electrical fires. It also equipped with Type II surge protection on AC and DC sides. The system against voltage spikes from lightning or grid issues, preventing damage to components.
This low-voltage residential storage solution also offers outstanding system compatibility. The BAT14kWh battery can be paired not only with the ET LV three-phase hybrid inverter but also with GoodWe’s single-phase ES Uniq series(3-12kW), giving homeowners more installation options to match different household needs. Likewise, the ET LV inverter also supports seamless integration with GoodWe’s Lynx A G3 and Lynx U G3 low-voltage batteries, enabling installers to tailor configurations for different budgets, capacities, and application scenarios.
This solution also provides intelligent and efficient residential energy management. The system significantly reduces electricity costs and maximizes solar energy utilization through optimized charge/discharge strategies and peak-valley tariff management. Offering comprehensive 24/7 monitoring capabilities, it enables users to remotely track real-time power generation, storage status, and consumption patterns across multiple devices for complete energy oversight. This integrated solution delivers reliable performance while ensuring operational transparency and control.
By combining the ET LV Series’ high PV input capacity, rapid backup switching, and micro-grid solution with the BAT14kWh’s flexible scalability and fast charge/discharge performance. GoodWe’s new solution empowers households in Asia, Africa, and Latin America to take control of their energy future—enhancing resilience, reducing costs, and supporting a sustainable lifestyle.
