New residential and C&I solutions, expanded product portfolio and focus on smart EMS mark a successful Intersolar 2025 for GoodWe

GoodWe reveals their new all-in-one solutions for residential and commercial applications, featuring advanced 6-layer safety protection and compatibility with AI Energy Management Systems during this year’s The smarter E Europe trade fair in Munich.

Inverter manufacturer and smart energy solution provider GoodWe used this year’s Intersolar exhibition from the 7th – 9th of May to present their newest products, including all-in-one solutions for homes and industry. Emphasizing the benefits of intelligent, safe and quiet operation, the company showed a complete solution for modern electrified households. GoodWe is also expanding their portfolio of storage solutions in commercial and industrial applications to meet the growing demand for clean and reliable energy supply at all hours.

A complete solution for the home

With a holistic approach to the electrification of buildings, GoodWe exhibited their next generation of single and three phase inverters for high and low voltage systems in combination with modular energy storage systems, heat pumps, EV-charging and building-integrated PV. With this, the manufacturer is offering a complete product portfolio for homes that can be controlled and optimized through intelligent energy management systems.

The company introduced the new ESA series 3-10kW/5-48kWh, a single-phase home storage solution for residential applications. The solution is available with 5kWh or 8kWh battery modules, which can be stacked up to six pieces per unit. This allows for maximal flexibility to match individual needs and thanks to the modular approach, more storage capacity can easily be added later on. With a switching time to back-up operation below 4 ms, the ESA can provide seamless electricity supply in case of outages or fluctuations, while supporting full back-up loads with 63A. Operational safety of the system is achieved through the 6-layer protection architecture and advanced features like AI-driven Arc Fault Circuit Interruption (AFCI) 3.0. Also important for customers is the compact design, one-click upgradeability and configuration as well as exceptionally low noise below 35 decibels.

GoodWe showed the next generation of single-phase grid-tied inverters, including DNS G4 3-6kW and MS G4 7.5-10kW, which feature reduced weight and noise for easy installation and operation. The two models support parallel connection with each other, allowing for greater flexibility in system design. For three-phase applications, the manufacturer is offering the new grid-tied inverter SDT G3 4-20kW with high power input and increased yield as well as compatibility with smart-grid ready devices for integration in smart home systems. Similarly, the three phase hybrid inverter ET G2 6-15kW is ready for AI driven EMS and offers advanced safety and backup features.

GoodWe showcased balcony solar systems as part of its EcoSmart Home solution, featuring the company’s PV Building Materials (PVBM), paired with two-in-one microinverters or all-in-one storage systems.

With focus on integrated systems and electrification of the home, GoodWe is expanding their product portfolio and displayed the second generation of their AC EV-charger with up to 22kW and intelligent functionality like dynamic load balancing. Together with the Vela Series Solar Carport, including lightweight panels, the company is offering a comprehensive solution to power electric mobility at home. The newly introduced air to water and water reservoir heat pumps complete the portfolio that allows for intelligent use of renewable energy at home.

Focus on commercial and industrial applications

A look inside the ESA 125kW261kW C&I Energy Storage System_1.jpg

For C&I applications, GoodWe presented the ESA series energy storage system 125kW/261kWh with integrated PCS and EMS functionality, as well as BAT series 102.4kWh/112.6kWh battery system for outdoors paired with the ET50 hybrid inverter. For both battery systems and introduced inverters, safety was a main talking point at the event. The 6-Layer safety architecture covers cell level protection of the integrated top-tier battery-cells, intelligent electrical protection, high-strengths enclosure and emergency response. The ESA C&I storage system received certification from TÜV Rheinland for its comprehensive environmental adaptability.

All new industrial hybrid inverters, including ET 40/50kW and ET 75-100kW, as well as the string inverters of the GT series with 150 kW and SDT G3 series with 50kW feature AI-powered Arc Fault Circuit Interruption (AFCI) 3.0 and Rapid Shutdown (RSD) 2.0 for advanced installation and operational safety.

GoodWe is expanding their offering for industrial three-phase inverters and introduced the GT series 150kW. The GT 100kW and GT 125kW string inverter were introduced recently and have already found application in carport solutions, due to their power density and smart low-noise fans. Similarly efficient are the new hybrid-inverter ET series 75-100kW with up to 200% PV oversizing and powerful backup functionality in combination with the STS box.
